A nice photograph showing the Denny complete with the original stone wall to the right. Why was it ever taken away?

Didn't Mrs Walker live in the house with porch at the bottom of the Denny? My Mother, Peggy, was friendly with her and we used to visit when I was wee. I remember she had an old wardrobe in her garden that she used as a 'summer house.' Comment left on 06 April 2004 at 02:13 by Margaret Tong (Cowie)
My father William Ian Macleman (Bill) lived in the third house along when he was very young - he does remember this though. His father John Macleman and mother Isabella (Ella) nee Jack (orginally from Edinbrugh) and dad's brother Brian lived there before they moved to Edinbrugh and onto Wellington New Zealand.

Margaret, you are my dad's cousin.

Oh I see! Yes, you are right, Anita.
I'd never heard of your dad being called, "William."
