These cattle belonged to my father, Danny McBean. They ran off and ended up here. Comment left on 21 July 2003 by John McBean
The extension to the harbour was constructed by Molem Contractors in 1942, and at the same time a small jetty of the same construction was built at Neilston between the Red Burn and Rosefarm with 2 Nissen huts by the shore for landing craft. Comment left on 29 September 2003 by Clem Watson
