Grand Princess cruise liner in the Cromarty Firth
Grand Princess Cruise Liner operated by P&O. It was the largest and most expensive cruise ship afloat until surpassed by 'Voyager of the Seas. At 109,000gt it offers accommodation for 2,600 passengers, including 1300 staterooms, 700 with balconies.
Frankly, I think it's just about the ugliest of the modern 'jelly mould' cruise liners ever to visit the Cromarty Firth.

Yes Colin I agree with you ...all modern Cruise ships now are built for massive Passenger capacity ..I should know I work a lot of them, But this Grand Princess cruise liner is actually part of the Princess Cruises company ..which in turn is owned by the ever growing CARNIVAL Group of Companies ..who are gradually owning such lines as Cunard, Princess, P&O, Costa Cruises, Windstar, Holland America Line, Seabourn Cruise Line, Swan Hellenic, AIDA, etc .....in fact the majority of cruise ships that come through the Cromarty Firth ..you bet would be owned by Carnival !! But nice to see them making the effort to come to the best part of Scotland !!
