Presumably this channel was built after the flood of 1940. Anyone know who did this, and what the reason for the rows of cobbles is?

I don't know the reason for the cobble stones? All I know as a young boy I used to run over them .. and see how many I could jump before I fell off on the slimy green stones! Comment left on 31 May 2008 at 05:46 by John Macdonald
