John Urquhart - c1880
This is a photo of my Great Grandfather John Urquhart born in Poyntzfield Resolis,Ross and Cromarty in October 1850 to John and Robertina (Peddison) Urquhart. He died in New Zealand in 1923. John was married to Christina McTavish (picture #2335) who was the daughter of John McTavish and Ann McKenzie. I am wondering if anybody can tell me what Regiment John was in, and if anyone has any information on the Peddisons or the McTavish's.
