Other part of Estate old walled garden - allotments for Cromarty?
This shows the large section of the old walled garden to the south of that shown in picture #2388. This too was one of the areas that the newly formed Cromarty Allotments and Gardens Society hoped might be made available for community use. Sadly, it isn't going to be. Seems a pity, especially when you compare this neglect with how it looked 100 years ago when still used as a formal garden - see also picture #1138 and picture #2388.
