Year is a guess, but looks about right. Message on the back of the postcard reads . . .

"Will be home before Saturday. I am in this crowd somewhere. Regatta Day at Cromarty"
and sent to Miss J. Fox, Tayside House, Bro-Ferry, by Dundee.

The quality of the photo is very good, so look at the large version. Some of the faces may be recognisable as members of families in the town.
