Could the lady in the middle be Cathal McKenzie's wife? Comment left on 06 November 2012 at 20:23 by Ruth
No, this isn't Cathal's wife (my Auntie Cathie and Dora Couper's sister) I'm sorry but I don't recognise the lady. Comment left on 13 November 2012 at 13:59 by Dorothy Snape (née Couper)
The lady in the middle is Christian Sinclair, Sinclair Fraser's (Poyntzfield farm) grandmother, Sinclair's mother's mother. Comment left on 18 November 2012 at 18:53 by Antonia Gordon
Look to the immediate right of Jane Duncan/Elizabeth Cameron. There's two books on display one says "Jane Duncan's New Friend" and underneath is a copy of "Martha's Aunt." Ergo the picture was taken after the release of My Friend Martha's Aunt. Find the UK release date for that one (I am in the US) and you have the approximate date. I only have a US copy and it is copyright 1962. Comment left on 20 January 2013 at 15:20 by Deb H
Oh my gosh how wonderful to see this! I remember the venture pretty well.. lots of home baking.. 'Miss Duncan' rather awe-inspiring, Jay very witty and funny. Comment left on 05 April 2013 at 09:17 by Christine Mckenzie
