Shipping hazard - c1976
This is the culprit that destroyed a large part of Cromarty Harbour when it broke its moorings. On the right hand edge of the photo is part of the dredger.

Campbell didn't supply a date, but this may be something I remember. In the late 70s there was a chain of floating tanks, one end of which was tied to the base of the harbour, just in front of the wall. The other end was moored around a 100 yards offshore. I never knew what they were.
